The choice of sling required is dependant on the load being lifted.

Typical equipment available

Modular spreader beams from 5 tonne up to 800 tonne suspended from the crane, these are used to lift physically large sized loads.

Digital tensile load shackles

Used to accurately verify the load to be lifted.

Depending on dimensions these can be attached directly to either side of the crane’s hook and the actual weight on the crane’s hook can be monitored by the driver and others at all times, if requested.

Wire rope grommets

We can provide these with 1.5m soft eyes at each end

We can make available 500t and 300t wire rope grommets with a 20m EWL .  These would have the soft eyes at each end and would attach directly on to the load shackles.

We have found that the best method for storing wire grommets, to protect them from bad weather, is by using half height containers with easily removable covers .

Supplying staff who are trained to recognised standards and who are equipped with all necessary Personal protective Equipment;

On going communication with clients and their site staff.

Use of fully tested and certified equipment at all times.
