Lifting Gear UK Group Acquired by Axel Johnson International
The owners of Lifting Gear UK Group have sold their business to the lifting solutions business group of Axel Johnson International.
Lifting Gear UK is a family owned company that was founded in 2007 and has 12 strategically located depots across England and Scotland, from Glasgow in the north to Bridgwater in the south. Lifting Gear UK originated in Leyland, Preston and is the largest privately owned lifting equipment provider in the UK, not only focusing on equipment hire, but also providing product sales and services such as heavy lifting projects, contract lifting and bespoke design and fabrication. Their success and strong growth can be attributed to their solid product knowledge and outstanding customer service that have supported them in building a loyal customer base.
