Lifting Projects UK 1st Week (TBM-Mary) Removal
Lifting Projects UK team set to undertake the removal of the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM-Mary) at North Woolwich Cross Rail Site for Hochtief Murphy Joint Venture.
Lifting Projects UK are carrying out a full contract lift on site in North Woolwich. Using all our contract lift team we will remove the Tunnel Boring Machine de-installation using Sarens Liebherr LTM 11000DS mobile crane, rigged on 56.4m main boom c/w 31.5m Derreck mast along with a 100t counterweight tray, rigged on 11.3m riggers and capable of lifting 102 tonnes at 28m radius.

The de-installation of Mary itself is a complex and challenging task but nothing the expertise and experience of the Lifting Projects UK team can’t handle. This contract lift is going to plan and the team are set to complete the job on schedule which will be in 4 weeks time.
